About the Online Panel Discussion:
What are challenges affecting immigration today in Canada?
Join our panelists for an online discussion as they tackle questions around immigration, the labour shortage and the role of language from a multi-disciplinary perspective. This session aims to provide participants with a thought-provoking and informative discussion related to:
- The labour shortage and ways to reduce barriers to entry,
- Immigration to smaller urban and rural communities,
- Fast-tracking to employment, i.e. micro-credentialing, experiential learning internships, non-objective language testing, and
- The role of language in these contexts.
