Training
Course Timeline: January 28th to March 4, 2026.
LINC classroom teachers (part-time or full-time) are eligible for training, but must have completed the CLB Bootcamp as a pre-requisite.
Registrations are only accepted from program coordinators by emailing: PBLA@language.ca after the call for participants is received in early January.
If your site has recently lost a Lead Teacher, please contact pbla.plar@language.ca to get details on certifying Lead Teachers and the process for PLAR. There will be a guided PLAR intake this winter between January-March.
Don’t miss your chance to take advantage of the ELBP Lead Teacher training in February. This training is open to CLIC or FLS programs across Canada that do not have ELBP Lead Teachers or need to fill this role on their team. Contact ELBP@NCLCenLigne.ca to discuss the options available.
For the first time, the CCLB is organizing a round table discussion for certified ELBP Lead Teachers to take stock of their challenges, successes, and overall experience in their program and to brainstorm as a group to find possible solutions. We will contact ELBP Lead Teachers to inform them on registration details shortly.
Do you know what it means to be a “Passeur culturel”? The Passeur culturel is a key mediator who makes cultures accessible and understandable, serving as a bridge between groups with different lifestyles. They facilitate exchanges and enrich intercultural interactions. The CCLB is proud to offer this training once more in January 2026 (in French only). It will be offered online with the support of qualified trainers for CLIC program instructors. It consists of a theoretical and practical component to provide a complete experience for participants. Eligible individuals can register by contacting ELBP@NCLCenLigne.ca.
